pinning a butterfly

When pinning a butterfly you need to use wax paper. Push the wings down then lay a piece of wax paper on top, then pin the wax paper. Make sure that you don't put the pins in the wings. I usually leave it like this for a week.

This is a Morning Cloak butterfly, I found it in Big Springs Park, Provo, Utah.
